Hey Flower1!

How was this first day without having to check your phone to see if there is any USCIS notification :D ? Must feel great right LOL! Well, they actually  received my application on April 10th. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if I made a mistake counting the number of days my application has been pending lol. I've literally been doing this every day these past 3 months-_- !!! I will keep u posted DEFINITELY !!! And this journey is not over yet, there's also the I-485. I'm glad we'll be able to support each other through this also ahah :D:jest:!!!

Oh wow that's amazing! we have the same Receipt date:jest: - so we will definitely be going through this whole process together haha

LOL tbh i haven't stopped checking my phone LMAO - i'll tell you why lol. It's because I read that once they mail you the card your status will change to 'Card was Mailed' LOL

I use the regular calculator in the computer to calculate the days - I've found that it has a feature called 'Date Calculation' that counts the days for you automatically (I've attached a screenshot so you see where to click) so today is the 116th day for you.

Hey first of all, congratulations!!!:D

I have a  question - do you have to sign up somewhere to get the tracking number from USPS? How does it work?

Yes i signed up at usps website a couple days ago. And then this afternoon i got a text from them with a tracking number of my combo card and where its at. Like I said I called USCIS twice to see if they can give me the tracking number but they kept telling me that it hasn't mailed out yet. I saw the history on usps and it was delivered yesterday. It's funny how uscis workers don't have any idea on what they're doing.😒 anyways I suggest you do the same thing, usps will send you a text message if anything is being delivered in your mail. Don't bother calling uscis as you might be frustrated with their answers.

Hi All!

First time posting in this thread.  We sent our packet in on April 4 and received NOA on 4/17 for all items in the packet. After months of waiting, we finally got a text that the EAD was approved on 7/26.  I was worried that we didn't get approved for the AP because the MSC# mentioned in the text was only for the I-765.  We received TWO I-797 (NOA) for BOTH the EAD and the AP on 7/31 in the mail.  The NOA's were just informing us that the EAD and AP were approved and how to use the combo card when it arrives in the mail.  That same day (7/31) we got another text that the EAD card was ordered for production. She received her combo EAD/AP card in the mail 2 days later on 8/2.  The next day on 8/3 we went straight to the SSA office to get her an SSN.  That card will hopefully arrive next week.  She applied to various places to work at the beginning of the week when we got the NOA's and now she has an interview at Legoland next week and also an actual job offer at a local Indian Casino!  This has been one hell of a week considering we have heard crickets from USCIS for the last 100 or so days!

It's great to see everyone else that filed in April starting to get some action from USCIS.  Now for those who us have achieved this big milestone, we await our next one--AOS Interview appointments!  Hopefully that will come soon!

Thanks so much Flower1 !!! I really appreciate ur help :)!

So, the wait is not even over after getting your case approved ahahahha LOL :D!!! I'm sure you'll get your card really soon - based on what I heard it should take a week or less. Please keep me updated on this!

Hopefully I'll get the good news in the upcoming week. I talked to some officer yesterday who told me my case was with an adjudicator and that I should hear something really soon. I remember you telling me you went on an Infopass appointment and that the officer told you something similar. Do you remember how many days it took from that day to getting your card  actually produced ?

PS : It is really awesome that we'll go through this whole process together :dancing:!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That's so amazing that your wife has already a job offer and will now go to another interview - Best of luck to her in whichever job she takes ! It feels great to read messages like this - proof that it is indeed a very long journey that can be really frustrating but at the end it's all worth it !
