Niners may have a crappy team, but look at the bright side..

- Baalke is gone

- No more Raiders in the BA

- Krappernick is gone

Things looking on the up and up!

Poor poor Krappernick.. Actions have consequences ..  Good move for Vegas

What is with Vegas and sports franchises lately?  First hockey, now NFL?

Vegas is a hop skip and jump from neighboring states like Utah. I'm sure plenty of analysts researching viability of the area concluded that visiting people would be likely to take in a football game.

As for the NHL, I haven't a clue.. apparently forcing one desert city to fund a bankrupt hockey team in Arizona and paying the player salaries for that team for half a decade was clue enough they must have another desert city to go nowhere with. I've found myself disillusioned with sports leagues as it is, but none more than the NHL for their conduct toward fans and taxpayers.

With the Coyotes, I think that they banked on the snowbirds making up 60-80% of their ticket sales and they just didnt for whatever reason.  Tampa does really well with out of towners as does Buffalo as one is a popular vacation spot for Canadians as well as a Canadian transplant area, the other feeds off of fans who can't afford games locally.

The NHL awards have been in vegas for years now (I always thought that it was more for the players and not the fans).  But I just don't see this being that successful

We can all thank Gary Bettman.

I do not know how he's survived this long in his job.  Perhaps the joint hatred of almost everyone.

He's shown he's willing to bend over backwards to defend his causes.

Did you see the Coyotes saga? He literally helped crowdfund a ton of Coyotes fans to come to the city council in Coyotes gear, along with his own stank presence, and try to justify to taxpayers and the city council of Glendale why taxpayers paying the million dollar player salaries and operations of a sports team is more important than emergency services that would be cut to fund this "entertainment". The only thing equally as pathetic was the council members in his pocket. If they had an ounce of integrity the Coyotes would have been in Seattle, Vegas, Quebec City, or who knows where.

This is just one example of why I've come to despise the NHL. I love hockey to death, but screw the NHL. And Bettman most of all.

I'm convinced that his endgame is to ruin hockey in Canada as much as possible.  Though he has nothing to do with the olympics directly, Canada winning back to back Gold medals did not help things whatsoever (especially when it comes to lending out players for it).  He won't hear of another team in Canada and it's sad.  Toronto could probably support 3 teams if given the chance.  He's so butt hurt to make it an American game between putting mics on refs to moving the Awards to even talk of building another hockey hall of fame in NYC.  It's pretty sad of what his adjenda is

What is the point of supporting a team, based entirely on where it is currently located? It just seems so pointless to me.

What's interesting to me is, after all that cheerleading for one's sports team, how do people have time or energy to cheerleader for political parties? I'd be fricken exhausted.
