Hi kabayans hope everyone's ok

just wanna ask how can i obtain taiwan police certificate im currently in hong kong wirking as dh.ive work in taiwan 2004-2007.

i went to teco office here in hk and they refuse to process my application they said i can ask a friend in taiwan to do it for me which i dont have and another option is to apply by mail.i tried to inquire in hk post office if they will allow me to include cash in letter but they said no. Is anybody here can help me please? I read somewhere that it is possible in lawton manila(include cash in letter)unfortunately i have no one to ask to since my family are in leyte. Please help po thanks

You can check the DoS website on how to acquire Police reports/clearance for other countries. Taiwan is listed and there are details on how you can request from your current place of residence. https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/fees/reciprocity-by-country/TW.html

Some wrap the currency in a sheet of paper and put that inside a 2nd envelope then inside the envelope with the forms.

Most shipping companies will not allow cash in the package. Advice: put in an envelope sealed and then put with your other documents within the main envelope. Do not tell them the cash is there. They will then take your envelope for delivery. This is chancy, but others have done it also out of desperation and it worked for them.

Im gonna do this tomorrow. I called taipei today if they will accept bank draft but said no only money order or cash. I put a bill in the middle of all my documents thanks everyone
