Ok, so my fiance had his interview today in Amman Jordan, US Embassy. He apparently did not have some court documents? I'm not sure what they are asking for? They wrote on a paper 2010 and Proof of relationship. We are muslim, I have seen him once but we have not spent extended times together as this is not acceptable in our religion. I don't believe he told them that...ugh...I'm so upset that I didn't just go to attend the interview with him. Anyways, a few years back he was involved in an altercation in which his friend shot and killed someone. He along with his friend were arrested. He was held in prison for 2 years. He did go and get police reports but is there a specific paper they want?

Would you recommend me getting a lawyer in US at this point to help intervene? Or should I just go to Jordan and attempt to submit this additional paperwork with him?

A police report most likely won't go into detail about the crime committed and what happened in court afterwards, he'll need court papers to show the details.

Each country is diferent, but basicalky when the person has been arrested, they ask for all paper from court, they want all papers related with the arrested.

No only police certificate,

Go to the embassy to delivery the papers wont help, get preper for a long Administrative processing, as he was involved in a problem where someone died and plus ge was in jail.
