Sent the I-130 on Monday, arrived there Thurs according to tracking. Here's to hoping the process isn't too painful and there isn't too much dreadful waiting!

Edit: and then I noticed this was 2017 filers... My brain is stuck in 2017, so sorry!

I am a March 2017 filer and thinking back now the process and the 12 to 18 month wait seemed so daunting. Honestly for the first few months I really stressed myself out constantly thinking about it.

Now in March 2018 and looking back it doesn't seem so long, I am just waiting now for my interview date. If I could have given myself advice back then it would have been relax and don't stress. The process takes the time it takes, just plan your journey and read what you need to and try get a little more prepared for the next stage. With the exception of mistakes in paperwork you have no control of the time, so just sit back and think of the good stuff (your future) and not the process.

Best of luck on your visa journey :)

We ended up getting an RFE on Jan 25, and it took the letter about 3 weeks to arrive, overseas. Funny how the USCIS people told us twice it was on its way and the third time they claimed they never sent letters overseas.

Anyhow, RFE answer was received on Friday the 9th so now we're waiting for the rest...

Painfully slow.

Anyone please, what is the last approval by CSC. Tired of waiting. Already it's been nearly 17 months.

I think you are on the wrong thread.  This forum discussion is for CR-1 applicants.  The processing times are not the same.  Go to this forum below.

It means you can only enter the USA if your sponsor is already resident in the country or is returning to the US at the same time, you would be denied entry otherwise.

But my husband is an us citizen for more than 10 years now..and he's been working in US for so long..so i wonder why i have that annotation where in fact I am also the only applicant he petitioned.

My wife is the US citizen and currently lives in Ireland with me and married 10 years, the same thing applies to me. I assumed it was in place to help prevent fraudulent visa petitions by US citizens living outside the country.

It's perfectly normal, no need to worry.

Just look forward to your new life in the USA.
