Do I need the Affidavit of support?

I got scheduled for n400 interview, it's under 3 year rule. I have all the documents ready (bills, car and health ins, etc ...) . And our joined tax returns for 3 years. Our 2013 taxes are very low, it was a hard year for us, and my brother in law helped out a lot with bills. Do I need the affidavit of support from him for 2013? And if yes, where can I find a sample, or he can write down everything in his own words and have it notarized?

no, no need for an affidavit of support, that taxes will show that you are co mingling finances and that you are filing taxes as any resident should

Tax returns are the main focus of the citizenship interview and whether you have been filing them as married under the three year rule. So that's married filing jointly/separately.
