Passport Renewal in US

Hello!

I'm renewing my passport soon. I need help with this requirement:

self-addressed return envelope with appropriate stamps for express or priority mail with tracking #s via USPS or with prepaid mailing envelope from private courier of choice

We tried FedEx but was told they can't make a label unless they're actually shipping something.

What/how did you guys do it?

Thank you!

We used a prepaid PRIORITY MAIL envelope, no issues.   Make sure to include tracking. ;)  (which I think now is always included with priority)

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!

I just used a USPS Priority envelope to send everything there,  I paid for one on the spot there at the post office from the Washington Embassy to my location. Then I put that Priority loose envelope already post marked and paid for into the other envelope. It sounds complex, but it's really easy once you get into the post office and do it, also it worked great.

I used the large document Priority envelope to send there, and I paid for the medium size to send back.

We used USPS priority with tracking like what others have done. If your still unsure, take all your documents you wish to send to the post office and explain to the teller exactly what it is you want to do. They will walk you through step by step. They're very helpful.

I used USPS when I did my ROM. Wrote my address on the middle, the embassy's address on the top and brought it to the post office and asked them to stamp it. I put the documents I was submitting in it so they could weigh it right. More complicated than just using a flat-rate envelope.

No, not Chicago... you live in Tennessee so that is Washington DC.  There will be an outreach even over towards Memphis may want to check on that.

You must use the embassy in Washington DC.

There will be an outreach event in Bartlett, TN (near Memphis) in June, this could save you a drive to Washington DC if you can get signed up in time.

There is info for contacting the embassy, plus dates and times of event.

You can renew your passport with the current name as shown, but you will not be able to renew in your new married name
