I'm still waiting too, pd May 15, 2017. I'm waiting until I get interview date before I re-do my medical exam (which is now out of date). Do you plan to re do your medical exam, or just hope for the best?

Probably will re do it!

Well, just got my interview notice for august 1st!

im so relieved!!!

Congrats!! I'll keep a look out for mine to come in two months I guess (fingers crossed!) Was the interview letter mailed by USPS? I've signed up for Informed Delivery so I won't miss any mails - My biometrics letter got returned so I'm a little paranoid now

Will my interview letter tell me that I need to re-do the medical pre-interview?

I think I did it August 2016...

I've seen conflicting information on here about medical— some saying that medical exam is only valid a year from when you got it done, others say it's valid a year from when you submit it. As far as I know, it's up to you to get it redone, they don't tell you in your interview letter. If you go to interview they might ask you to resubmit a new medical exam. So in my opinion, it's not worth the risk of further delaying your process. I'll probably get a new medical exam done as soon as I receive interview notification. I'd love to hear other people's opinions on this though.

AOS filer in Queens from Australia. Filing for marriage based adjustment of status from B1/B2 visa (entered on B2)

Forms sent: I-485, I-130, I-131, and I-765.

  • Package received by USCIS 11/17/2017
  • I-130 receipt received 11/20/2017
  • I-131 receipt received 11/20/2017
  • I-485 receipt received 11/20/2017
  • I-765 receipt received 11/20/2017
  • ASC Appointment Notice received 12/01/2017
  • Biometrics appointment was at 9am on 12/18/2017
  • Received a courtesy letter on 12/14/2017- regarding form I-693 not submitted, telling me that I'll be required to send one at a later date (either bring it to interview or send it in if interview is not required)
  • AP & EAD approved 1/23/2018- received combo card 01/25/2018

Current case status on I-485 on USCIS website says:

"At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 for additional information."

So that's my timeline thus far. Any ideas on the USCIS case status message? I saw a different message previously, something to do with my forms being transferred to my local office (Manhattan) so perhaps things are moving along...

Good luck to everyone on this thread!

-Weggy

Update: called the number and the automated voice said that my case was ready to be scheduled for an interview. Pretty sure this is what my case status said online before, but who knows why it changed to "unable to provide information". Did a quick Google and most were saying it's just a glitch or something. 👍
