Hello,

i am a Canadian citizen and applied for a K1. I have been asked to send two follow up documents. The last one (mental evaluation) took me by surpise. My documents were received Jan 27 and have been in AP since. Last update was Feb 3 and then again Feb 8 after they responded to an email just stating the wait time was normal and it was with a consular officer. I was told it would be about two weeks so gave notice at my work as well as to my landlord and now I'm stuck waiting. Keeping in mind my interview was Nov 9 does anyone know how long I should expect to wait?

Thank you!

I'm pretty much in the same situation in Singapore. My interview was on 23 Dec, I submitted the outstanding documents which were received on 19 Jan. I was also told it would take about two weeks, but it's been over 4 weeks and still nothing. From what I gather online, most resolve within 60 days...I'm just trying really hard to be patient these days. Good luck!
