I don't know if that works because it's not advisable to get a ticket without the Visa on your hand. But trying is better than waiting. Good luck!

Yeah but CO asked himself to submit. So mo option for us rly.

I have been on AP since 9 months and its for a tourist visa....I wanted to check the status but I think the CEAC website is down.

I'm sorry to hear about that. But I don't want to speculate since you're in tourist visa and I am in K1 it's way more different and as far as I am aware that tourist Visa is hard if you don't have a reasonable reason to visit a country. But still don't lose hope Good luck and God bless :)

CO asked me to submit Confirmed Air tickets as proof of Domicile during interview.

Thanks Jessie , on the contrary I am very hopeful last time it took nearly an year, and this time I have seen at least two updates in the last month, I have yet to see anyone not getting a visa after such a long administrative processing.

I had my interview at Abu Dhabi in the 26th. I was give 212 with only reason administrative process. Passport was returned. There have been 3 updates- last 3/29. My last clearance for my visit visa was done dec 2013. It's an IR1 this time. Thoughts?? I know patience is the name of the game but some encouragement from past experiences of the others might help. Thanks!

My wife was interviewed on December 22, 2016 for CR-1 visa at New Delhi, India. Her case was put on AP and since then there is not even update online about her case nor we heard anything. She was not asked to submit any documents. I recently wrote to US embassy in Delhi to inquire about her case wherein we are told that her case is continued to be on AP and don't know when processing would be completed. So its going to be 4 months now and not even one update online...
