  1. So my husband went for his first interview at the Consulate in El Salvador on September 4th 2019 I was there with him. He was handed a paper and the lady said congrats you are approved your passport will be available in 7-10 days at the Cargo Expreso you chose. Well 2 weeks, 3 weeks went by and nothing I began emailing and all I was told was it was in AP which to my understanding was normal but not for that long for approvals. My husband has no criminal background, zero tattoos, no medical issues, never been in a gang etc. We got an email and they requested a second interview at the consulate on Oct 3rd at 2pm. He received the email from FPUSS which with my investigating is Fraud Prevention Unit San Salvador. I found it weird because they weren't requiring me to attend so it wasn't a marriage fraud and all the threads I read were due to tattoos and he has zero. He went to his interview and he said it was around 45-1 hour long and they questioned his life in El Salvador prior to coming to the US. They were extremely focused on his father which has been dead for almost 9 years and was killed by gang members. My husband left El Salvador before 18 years of age due to the violence and the crime. They kept asking him why he liked Nike years ago, why they killed his dad, and about a brother he doesn't speak to. They drilled and drilled him and asked if he was a gang member etc. Told him they knew about his family in the US and facebook and this and that he said that's fine I will give you access to get into my facebook if youd like. They told him no need. At the end he said they told him in a week or so he would get an email with next steps, denial, or approval. Now mind you he was already approved at his first appointment. Now we are just waiting I haven't been able to find anything on someone with a similar situation. Has anyone been through this? Most of the stories I see are they are given a 221g paper, tattoos, etc but that's not the case with my husband. I guess its a waiting game now.
  2. Hello. I had my second interview. They said they will call with a decision in two days. The day after my interview the embassy emailed me to do my medical exam because the first one were expired. Two days after i did my medical exam they updated the status on CEAC. 3. Hello. This is my situation. I had my second interview last month. Me and my spouse were interview Separately. Before we started the C O said he was sorry to let us wait so much. He told me, this is how we are gonna do this. I am gonna do some questions to you, then to your Husband and then we are not gonna give you a response today. We are gonna do some administrative review then we are gonna call or email with a decision. He did the exact same questions as in the first interview but it was different CO . Then he did some questions to my husband and told him that everything looks good to me. Only thing that is missing is your spouse medical(which i did 7 months ago but they are expired) He told my husband we are gonna call with a decision. I did my medicals and the last update in ceac it was right after i did the medicals. What does it mean administrative review, and what is the difference between administrative process and administrative review? How much do you think it will take do give us the answer. I will appreciate your answer thank you

  6. Hello guys, Today my visa was issued finally after a hard / unique / long visa journey, and the reason why i'm writing this thread is to share my particular case because it can be helpful for others who might have a similar situation like mine. I posted my first thread one year ago, Help me please, can we get married before ds260, i didn't know anything about the procedures of diversity visa back then, some people told me to avoid getting married because it can decrease the chances of your visas getting approved, they told me to wait for her to get there and she can later petition for you, but we didn't want to be separated like that, we were about to get married anyways here, so we decided to get married and hope for the best, also your replies were really important to us to take that decision. + we got married, we filled DS260, waited for the confirmation letter, but no response from KCC, even tho we sent the required documents and we received the automatic reply, in January we called KCC, they told us that they didn't receive anything, and they advised us to send a new email again, 3 days later we got the confirmation email, so, if someone doesn't receive his confirmation email, you got to call them to check. + our case number is 12k, we received the appointment date late, it was 16th of April, the interview went smooth, but the consular told us that we're missing a document, and told us that we're going to have a second interview, you can read the whole thing in this thread i think i have a rare case, it was rare, because I've never heard of something like that, so basically my wife was born in 95 and was registered in 2002, they wanted a justification for this delay of birth registration, we brought an affidavit from the place where her birth was registered. + fast forward, they fixed another appointment which was a second interview, it was in 30th of May, we went there and waited 3 hours, until the room was empty, they called us in different counters, they asked us questions about the relationship that every genuine couple could answer. + and finally, today the visa was issued, i'm really happy we finally overcame this full year of stress and frustration, i hope this thread would help someone because i know the mental and physical sufferings we went through, thanks to Jojo92122, and SusieQQQ for their help, and i thank everyone who helped me and didn't mention !
  7. Good afternoon, I had the first interview last November 16 and was given 221g and passport returned. They then email for a 2nd interview last January 17 and still AP. Although they just recently updated the date in CEAC last Tuesday, Feb. 5, I was wondering if some had experienced this before? The 2nd interview was a lot tougher than the first and more questions. They ask me to bring proof of employment and paystub which I did (I am in E-31 and 601waiver). They didn't ask for the documents and they asked questions right away. I just told them that they ask me to bring documents in which she took and made copies. Then goes back to asking questions. What is your assessment on this?
