You can leave it blank as your spouse isn't permitted to AOS in country

...Technically there is no AOS for persons who entered the US illegally, or undocumented... You can try but most likely will get denied eventually.

Many file the 130 in country before a waiver and having their spouse return home for interview.  Those are usually approved.  It's the I-485 that is not

Also can be a trick too. Depending if they have incurred a ban and the waiver could just be a rouse to get them to leave willingly. It has happened before.

True.  But I visit another immigration board where this is frequently done and haven't really seen it

Might start happening a lot more now...... And surprised really, bypass legal immigration, then marry, and basically just fill out a few other papers for a waiver and get rewarded.. I'm always amazed at the legal loop holes haha.
