First post here so I may be going about this all wrong, but...

I just received my NOA1 for the K1 petition sent on my behalf of my fiance. I am nervous if we sent enough evidence/if our petition had enough emotion behind it. I have seen people who put their own petitions together and they are usually fully loaded with pics, messages, etc. We decided to file with a lawyer we heard good things about and who helped another couple coming from the same country as my Fiance. (I am in no way complaining about our attorney, I am just very nervous as Im sure everyone else on here is as well). The lawyer only sent about 5 of the 20 or so of the pictures that I gave him to choose from (a few from my first visit and a few from my second). I asked about adding chat logs and things like that, but he said my fiance should take that to the interview with him and that it did not need to be sent with the initial packet. I still decided to print our skype log to send with the petition, but the log only covers a year of our relationship because prior to my first visit we exclusively used Facebook Messenger to make calls. I noted that at the top of the log just in case, but did not submit any evidence of that. I also sent copies of both my airline tickets and airline receipts for three separate trips (the one we met and the two I went to visit him thereafter). Additionally, the lawyer only wrote a few sentences about how we met but I have hear people writing long heartfelt letter for this section of the petition. Basically, I just want to know if you guys feel we sent enough evidence. Also, I made a scrapbook of our time together and planned to send this to him to take to the interview it has pretty much all of our pictures in it. Is this an okay way for him to take pictures with him to the interview or should I have some printed out alone as well?

Do you guys think their will be a slow down in how quickly petitions are being approved with the new president taking office? I noticed over the summer petitions were being approved fairly quickly and I heard the winter months were supposed to be quicker because generally less applications are sent during that time.

I don't think a new president taking office will have any affect on it in the immediate near future.

You don't need a heartfelt letter what your lawyer did it regarding how you met is completely fine.  You only need a few pictures as they are secondary evidence. It's a good idea to frontload some relationship evidence. Some countries need more frontloading than others to be successful. You don't need emotion you need facts and evidence. Adjudicators are busy. They're not looking to read romance novels. I think you will be fine.

As far as the separate pictures you may need to do that for him as depending on the embassy interview area is set up. A scrapbook may not fit under the window, if they have that at his embassy.  I just printed out pictures and put them in a clear plastic sleeve in a binder. That way you could take them out and slide them under the window individually If needed

I think the evidence provided in your application is enough. USCIS just wants to see that you have met once within the past 2 years, and that you appear to be a legitimate couple. Some photos, proof of visiting a few times, and chat logs are all great evidence. At this point they have your petition, so it's just a waiting game- I understand how it's impossible to not worry during this process, but I can assure you most of the time, the worrying is unnecessary :) Should you get an RFE for any reason, it seems like you have more than enough evidence to respond to it with.

As for the scrapbook as lionessdeon mentioned, it may be too much if there are windows at the embassy, as it will not be able to slide under. You could still give it your S/O, but I would also pick a handful of additional photos that can easily be slid under the window incase there is one. I'm not sure how easy/difficult the embassy is for Bosnia, but the more evidence you have, the safer you are either way. Plus it can't hurt your case to have it on hand :)

Also do not worry about the new president, his main target with immigration is illegal immigration, so I really do not see any cause for concern with your petition! Maybe tourist visas, etc. will be under more scrutiny (since people could overstay), but these changes will not happen overnight. However, there is a 'back log' from October/November of 2016 for NOA 2's. Things slowed down leading up to the holidays, and are appearing to pick up a bit again. Processing times really vary- it can be as quick as a few weeks to as long as six months, regardless of the time of the year.

Thank you both for your responses. I feel a lot more at ease now knowing that our petition should be enough. I will also make sure to print out separate pictures just in case the scrapbook is too large.

Good luck with your immigration cases!
