Can mother-in-law make an affidavit letter for I-751?

I supposed to file I-751 in early January. I have a question about the affidavit letters and wish to get some help from VJ. Thank you!

 

As stated in the instructions, "Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by at least two people who have known both of you since your conditional residence was granted and have personal knowledge of your marriage and relationship", I wonder if an affidavit letter from my spouse's mother is acceptable. A close friend (US citizen) of us can make the other affidavit letter.

Yes, why not?? family members are more important than friends

Affadavits count for very little- co-mingling of finances and living together are much more important.  But yes, she can write a letter.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
