Question about NVC date for VJ Timeline

Recommended Posts

I'm attempting to update my Timeline and I'm not entirely sure what date to put down for when my package was received by NVC.  I didn't call NVC at all, I just waited and received the welcome emails.  Also, do I put in the date I received the welcome emails for the "Received DS-261/AOS Bill" date?  If anyone can help that would be wonderful!  I'd like to be contributing to the data collected through the Timeline feature =]

I-130 sent (Phoenix Lockbox): June 04, 2016

NOA1 received: June 10, 2016

Transferred from Nebraska to Texas: October 20, 2016

NOA2 received: December 14, 2016

Case number assigned: January 06, 2017

It's difficult to know these dates unless you were watching your case updates on the tracking site. It's not such a big deal as the approval, interview, visa received, etc.
