My husband rec'd his EAD card in the mail last week. Then, yesterday we got an e-mail saying the approval letter was sent.

It seems strange that the card would arrive before the approval letter. Wouldn't it seem logical for both to be in the same envelope?

Anyway, we're happy to have something since AOS is still in FBI name check.

They're silly like that. We received NOA2 for the K1 about a week before they sent an e-mail stating that they sent it. Weirdos.

Congratulations! No matter how they did it, it's great that you got it.

03/21/2007 - NOA1, Checks cashed

06/01/2007 - EAD card production e-mail received (74 days)

07/27/2007 - EAD RECEIVED (57 days after approval)

11/29/2007 - Infopass appointment - file was sent to a storage facility before it was finished processing.

05/28/2008 - Received AOS Interview notice

07/10/2008 - AOS Interview-APPROVED pending fingerprints

09/22/2008 - GREEN CARD IN HAND!

August 28/06 Left NVC. . . Vancouver Bound!

September 27/06 Interview APPROVED, with visa in hand

October 29/06 Moving Date

December 30/06 Married!!

January 16/07 Sent out AOS, EAD, and AP docs

January 23/07 NOA1's for AOS, EAD and AP

February 13/07 Biometrics in Portland, OR

April 7/07 EAD and AP Received

April 24/07 Interview Scheduled . . . and APPROVED, stamp and all!

May 7/07 Greencard is in my hands!
