I've been checking for a few days now, and I don't think there's a forum for January 2017 filers yet, so I'm going to start one. I just sent my mom's petition today via Fedex and it should be received

They want your current employment information (which you shouldn't be employed without a permit).  Owning a business back home is not counted here

C.17 - List spouse and all children of your relative. do I put my name in there?

The petitioner should list the name of immigrant spouse and that person's kids

do I write "N/A" where there's nothing to write? or leave it blank? Yes N/A, where possibe

B11- I am petitioner. I live with my wife, who is US Citizen, which is why I am US Citizen now. i am not seeing to put current wife's info, only previous spouse. so got confused as if there's any where i have to put that.

 

B15- I'll put my employer's info. thank you

C.17 - I am filing for my parents, in which case, I'll have to put my name as that person's kid. but i am US Citizen, so does that list only kids whom I am petitioning for? or I have to put my name in that list as well?

Looks that way!!! wow!!!  It looks similar to the I-751 (removal of conditions).  Hopefully it's not an error.  I may give them a call

I understand now that there is a new form, but you still have time to use the old version, which doesn't ask for your spouse's name just your marriage. some people list their current marriage in the prior slot, I didn't and there were no issues.

I just checked the USCIS website and my petition for my dad got approved yesterday! So happy!!! I mailed in my petition on 12.12.2016 and it got routed to Nebraska Center. Good luck to everyone! So grateful and feeling truly blessed!
