I'm guessing you can provide pictures of the wedding ceremony, maybe a wedding invitation, affidavits from a friend/s that they were witness to your marriage and can vouch that it is bonafide, copies of emails you received from people suggesting that you are married...

Is this for the I-130 filing? if yes, read the instructions of the form....

Look halfway down the page and it will address your question.

The marriage certificate is your major selling point. On top of that you can add affidavits by friends, lease agreements and bank accounts if you have them.

You send a marriage certificate. Affidavits are fine for couples who live together because others can observe the bonafide nature of their relationship. An affidavit that somebody attended your wedding, or pictures of the ceremony or party don't say much about relationships when there's an ocean separating the couple. People with sham marriages can provide the same. I would stick to the basics for the petition filing and then be prepared to show evidence of an ongoing bodafide relationship at interview. Do this with proof of ongoing communication and additional visits as well as demonstrations of familiarity with personal history and family.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
Understanding the big picture is priceless. Anonymous
