Huy guys!

This forum helped us A LOT while trying to make sense on how to proceed with the visa. And we're very grateful that you're here helping others.

But we encountered a new problem. First a little background:

The Petitioner (Cheryl, female) lives in US and US citizen, and the beneficiary (Me, Jervie) is a filipino guy (with filipino citizenship) who lives in Italy. We've been together for a very long time, but only recently we decided to start the process for k-1 (we were undecided wether she comes in Italy or I go to US).

Now the question: after sending everything to USCIS it's now almost 1 month since we received the NOA1 and while I was reviewing everything I saw an error on Beneficiary's G-325A form. Precisely on the section of Applicant's residence last five years and Applicant's last address outside US for more than 1 year: in both I wrote in the box YEAR of FROM 2001, but it should have been 2000, which is the year I (beneficiary) started living in Italy.

I think it's very unlikely that we'll receive an RFE for such little mistake, but I just want to know what do you guys think of the situation and maybe some reassurance that everything will be possible to correct in the interview.

Thank You everyone.

My fiance (a Filipino living in SA) also made a slight mistake on that form. Based on the research I did around that, they will either issue an RFE to fix it, or (more likely) just have him tell the officer at consulate interview and they can let him fix the discrepancy there. The other alternative I saw was to contract USCIS and alert them, then send a letter and corrected form to USCIS. Good luck.

Thanks for the answer.

Man, what a mess for just one stupid number.

Anyway that was exactly what I was about to do.

Quick questions: After contacting the USCIS what should I include in the letter after the obvious corrected form? A letter where I explain the mistake with my signature and hers, maybe with a title that goes like this: "Attachment corrected Beneficiary's G-325A form"?

Thanks.
