How do you determine the amount to enter on the form for derived annual income? Is it what you will make for the current year or what you made on the last year's W2? My fiance's wage is an hourly rate and he has received a raise since last year.

You use last years tax return, probable not enough time to put in for 2016 return but you can give pay stubs to show current pay.

It was weird with our K-1 the Philippines embassy didn't even look at my I-134, but approved.

Current income is the amount you should make in a year according to wage and average hours.

Wage per hour x hours per week x 52 = current income

Example: Jim makes $35/hour and works 35 hours a week.

35x35=1225x52=63700.

The wage calculated is GROSS ie: before taxes.

If the wage goes up simply calculate using the new wage. If you want you can calculate using the old wage for the period of time it existed and the new wage henceforth.
