Isn’t it true that an N-400 cannot be approved until the I-751 is approved? Hat is what I read on the USCIS website. Of course both applications can be concurrent. Maybe the interview will be a dual one to finish the ROC process and clear the way for the N-400 approval.

While that is true, the adjudicating officer at their interview will just need to approve and close the ROC.  Typically, no GC is issued because the oath ceremony may be the next month.

What date did you apply on for your Citizen ship? was it online or the traditional method ( the heavy a$$ packet through USPS)?  what state do you reside in?

Thank you :) and good luck :)

I applied online January 11th this year and I'm in Nebraska.

My current conditional green card will expire at the end of March. To keep my "legal status" before the permenant green card is issued, what should I do now? Getting stamped at local office? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!!!

Get an infopass appointment and get an I-551 stamped in your passport. Take into account any imminent travel as some countries(like schengen) only issue visa if your I-551 stamp extends 3 months beyond the day of exit from the visa issuing country.

But ’tis a common proof
That lowliness is young ambition’s ladder,
Whereto the climber upward turns his face.
But when he once attains the upmost round,
He then unto the ladder turns his back,
Looks in the clouds, scorning the base degrees
By which he did ascend.

I checked my second WAC number today and it says:

On February 25, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC, at your local office.

It seems suspicious to me that they received it on Sunday. Did they start working on weekends?

Did they move your case to a different office to clear up the back log? Did you apply for N400?

This is interesting, I see some people are talking about this in other topic, too.

I just checked mine after reading the posts on here. And it shows the following :

On February 26, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC123456789XYZ , at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I believe they are sending all the cases pending for more than 6 months to local offices... It's finally moving !!!

Hopefully the local offices will work on our cases to speed up the applications. Checked my case just now.
