Congrats! Your wife got interview so fast! I'm i 751 Dec. 2016 filer, and I filed N 400 in January 2018. I didn't have interview notification yet. Your field office Detroit MI official processing time only up to May 2017, it's really nice for you to have it so soon. Pls keep us posted for your interview notice, such as does the letter mention I 751 is combined with N 400?

Thanks in advance

I called the 1800 (twic back to back calls) to verify the location of my file. On both calls I was informed that my file has been transferred to my local office. On the second call, after the agent told me my file was as my local office, he also said i have to wait 180 days before i can file an inquiry on my case. I told him its already been 15months. So he took my information down and told me I would get a call back in 3-5days for a tier 2 officer for more information.

Thank you for sharing this info, it seems the updates are not glitch. I'm wondering why the officer said have to wait 180 days to file an inquiry? And since it's processed in local office, the official processing time of CSC from their website will no longer be accurate. Pls keep us posted when you get the call from tier 2 officer.

Much appreciated.

Mine says transferred o local office on March 4, 2018 but my n400 changed to february 2020, so this is messed up at Houston Office.

The tier 1 agents don't know what they're talking about. They only know what we know. I had 2 tier 1 agents tell me it was not a glitch, and then a tier 2 agent told me my case was never transferred and it's still in CA. I wouldn't trust anything they say. But I do believe that my case never left CA.

Did they tell you why it will take 3-5 days to get a call back? I got a call back from them within an hr

Quite possibly number 2, but reading through the other thread, it sounds like those filing in Mid-2017 are also seeing the same message, so not sure what it might be.  Another possibility is that there will be more I751 interviews based on whatever new policy that may have been created.

Doesn't really matter for my wife as she filed the N400 which seems to be moving at a 6 month pace right now, so hopefully all will be done by August this year and we will be done with USCIS.

6 months only?sounds too good to be true!Did you guys notice any recent N400 approvals from Detroit office then?

I was basing it on the estimated processing times for the N400 at the Detroit Office on the USCIS website.  Just this week she received a notice for her N400 interview via email.  We still have not received the paper notice, but Detroit seems to be moving rapidly.

I called the USCIS. They told me, right now the CSC is a little bit behind. They still have 4000 cases pending for September 2016. I am December 2016 filers. Wieww! We need to be more patience, just sit back and relax. Good luck to all of us! ☝🏻🙏🏻

Filed Dec 2016 to CSC, stamped passport Feb 2018, and now (March 5th) my application is apparently at my local office? So if I live in CA, and originally sent it to the CSC, does that count as my local office? Or has it been distributed to the USCIS office where my passport was stamped?

Wow, I filed my N 400 on 1/11/2018, any my ROC was on 12/8/2016. I didn't have any updates from them, your office is in Texas? It's SO very FAST. Is your interview letter stating anything about ROC I 751?

I filed my ROC last 12/02/2016 in CSC and now I just recieved a letter notice of transferring in Texas Service Center? Does anyone have the same experience like mine? Thank you!
