Hello everyone. I got a RFE on June 14th, I sent documents I had on July 10. Today I checked my status and it states that my new card has been picked up by USPS on July 26th.For all of you who are still worry about your RFE. Just let me tell you that they basically want updated information from you and your partner. If for some reason you can NOT provide certain documentation, explain in a well written letter the reason why you do not have such document. Affivavit letters from two or three friends help a lot. I only sent two of those with pictures attached of us with those friends. Any type of ducoments helps really. Such tax forms, car insurance, if you have kids obviously  birth certificates, lease sign in both your names or morgage, health insurance, and whatever comes to your mind that you both have in common. Send as many pictures as you can explaining place and date in the back. No more than 20 pics though. Do NOT send documents you have already submitted. Good luck to you all still waiting and God bless. ☺️

Hi everyone,

I need any and all help from anyone that's experienced or know anyone that has. If anyone can address the two items I've bolded.

I got an RFE for updated documents and I have to turn them in before September 10th. I am, however, getting a divorce and will be filing on August 1st. Along with all the documents I have proving a bonafide marriage, should I also submit affidavits from my spouse and I stating that we are filed for a divorce on and also send copies of the papers filed?

I just need help with this, not sure if I should also send in a whole new packet with a divorce waiver or they will adjust it on their end. I already know I'll get another RFE asking for the Divorce Decree. I just want to make sure I am extremely open and transparent with them.

Congrats to all that have their permanent GC already! ANY HELP is MUCH APPRECIATED!

Thank you and God Bless!!!

Or should I even make them aware that I am filing because we are still legally married and how I filed still applies until we get the final decree, which will take 2-3 months in the state of Florida?

Hi Oltawel,

Did they tell you what type of document to send or did they just ask you to send whatever you could?

Also, how long they give you to send these documents.

Have a nice day!!!!!

Hi Nissart,

yes they asked for specific documents, but I sent whatever I could.

The picture shows their request.

Hello friends, I formed delivery shows I should be getting this in the mail! However none of my online accounts have changed any status. Do you guys think it's an approval or something else??

Someone once posted if I can see the statue of liberty it's more than likely an approval. Any guesses?

Thanks all!
