Hello VJ members

I am in the process of bringing my Fiancé from Ethiopia. My Petition has been approved and I received a letter from the National Visa Center (NVC) on Oct. 19, 2016 saying that my petition has been forwarded to Addis Ababa Ethiopia. My fiancé has not received any instructions as of today from the U. S. Embassy in Addis Ababa. What can I do from here? Should I email them? I also heard that NVC sends instructions to the Petitioner.

I would appreciate any information. Thank you in advance for your help.

Congratulations on your NVC approval! Things are pretty smooth now.

At this point, you just wait.

They will send you a letter fron ethiopia regarding the interview. Your fiance will get the same letter.

Good luck!

Thank you sema for your response. I do have case number from NVC. By any chance do you have the best email address for the US Embassy in Addis. There are few on the website and don't know which one to use. I appreciate your help.

Thank you.

Thanks.

The US Embassy in Addis is slow to none for responses by email (heavy on the none part). I would 100% call them. I don't remember what number I called but they were extremely helpful by phone - a rare occasion in Ethiopian phone services ;)
