Not exactly sure, but I'm pretty sure you can only have 1 joint sponsor.

?

I was clarifying to rrm19752 that:

  • 1 beneficiary can only have 1 sponsor.
  • 1 sponsor can sponsor as many beneficiaries as they want, if they meet the 125% poverty level guidelines for however many they decide to sponsor.

I think each sponsor needs to fill out a separate i-864 after they decide who is sponsoring who. The i-864a is for spouses combining income to meet the poverty guidelines.

But yeah I agree, I'd suggest they make another thread for their particular case.

Your family group can use a max of 2 different joint sponsors. So you have to divide the peole between the two sponsors. So if both the sponsors make the same and have the same family size they could each take on responsibility for 3 of you . IF one makes more than the other then split the sponsorship accordingly.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
