Biometrics documents needed

I'm wondering if we need to take any other documents besides the appointment letter and his passport with us for my husband's biometrics appointment on Friday. He is adjusting status from K-1 and after the experience at the Paris embassy asking for an original document that was not listed as needed for the interview I'm a little skeptical. It's a 3.5 hour drive from our city and the appointment is for 8 am so I'd rather be prepared than sorry.

They asked for my marriage certificate and NOA's. But only because they needed to confoirm my last name change and they needed case numbers.

Hi

I just took my letter and passport but they required my marriage certificate (which i didn't have!!) due to the passport being in my maiden name and the letter being in my married name - so we had an extra hour's wait for a USCIS employee to get back from his lunch in order to presumably check my file for a copy of the certificate.

So yeah, if it is a case where you've changed names, save yourself the time and take the marriage cert :)

I have all my documents, from the start of the K1 application until now, in one big binder sorted by type and date (my wife calls it my security blankie). Anything related to official agencies, it travels with me. I had it with me for my biometrics but only needed the letter and my passport. It's just handy to have all your stuff with you just in case they ask for something extra.
