I checked the February forum and see that many have already been approved. Their cases were sent to Texas Service Center. :( Why are we in Nebraska?! I am at 288 days!

It's just really sad. :(.... I hope our approval comes before December. I'm planning to go visit my husband for the holidays and bring in the NewYear together. I'm at 271 days! It would be very saddened if the ask for more evidence or anything else.

I know right. Like how come they have a shorter security check? What's taking so long for some people??

Maybe  they are only allowed to approval so many at a time. So do the have a stack that they just put to the side that they  plan on rejecting? I am so confused right now and about to lose my mind.

eh I don't think they are allowed to reject. It is a right for US citizens to marry and petition for our spouse.

I just received a call from Senator office where I submit a request to inquire regarding my case and according to senator office NSC is currently processing cases as of Nov 26th 2016 and that's what they told me too when I called last week, so they may touch my case (PD Nov 29) soon. What a bunch of liars? Who is approving the December cases? GHOST??? And, what about the cases that were prior to Nov 26th, why are they still in limbo? oh yes, I forgot its under background check. It takes max 2-3 weeks to do background check or else no later cases would have been approved either.

How you even know if they are even reviewing your case and if it's the security check that's holding it up?

My husband and I called them today and of course no new news smh....as we are out of normal process time we wanted to do inquire but guess what their system crashed....so the guy on the phone was like here is the link to do inquire and as we typed it in it says ERROR and the guy on the phone got quite and then he was like I'm so so sorry for inconvenience, he said it million of times because nothing was working lol I just started laughing because it was unbelievable and my husband got pissed....I'm been telling to my husband to just give up calling because obviously it makes no difference, you just lose your nerves pretty much.... 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈
