So I filed N400 the day I became eligible which is Oct 23rd 2017 under 3 year rule. Got my NOA1 with a priority date October 26, 2017. And then went to my biometric in November 16 2017. And On January 10th 2018 they scheduled me for an Interview for Feb 14th. So, My interview went pretty smooth. He basically went straight to the civic test and I passed after 6 questions. He told me to write 1 sentence that he dectated. And after that he told me that I passed and we went over my application. After that he handed me a paper that has checked on it stating that I passed but the decision cannot be made yet. The reason for that was my officer has to review my ROC first that CSC sent to his office. And yesterday my status was updated that I was placed of an oath. Good luck on yours .

Congratulations. Did you file your N400 online? Looks like, online filers are having their interview letters three months after filing. I filed N400 two months ago, and my ROC is still pending with CSC, its been 15 months of waiting. Hopefully I get an interview soon.

That is really good news! If field offices are actively taking a look at I-751's pending cases, it can help to faster the delayed backlog.

Being that said, I wonder what they asked you, if they actually wanted to visit your home and household, what time they visited, or is there any particular red flag on your I-751 cases to trigger the necessity for USCIS to decide to send officers to visit your home, or it was just randomly selected for you in an effort to faster the backlog?

Thanks

Thanks

They didn't talk with me to be honest, they arrived around 9am, I was at home because my daughter had the flu; when they arrived we were still in pjs and I told them to wait a few minutes so I can change clothes, so called my husband, he arrived home in less than 10 minutes and he talked for a few minutes outside and when he opened the house to let them in, he explained that our daughter was sick, so, they decided to stay outside and only talked with him, they practically asked when was our anniversary, if we travel outside the country and when, how much did we paid for our house, things like that (I believe to confirm what we put in the application); it was a quickly visit, and before they left they only told him that they will recommend to approved without an interview and that was it.

I don't know if the interview are part of try to help with backlog or what; they just told my husband that now the number of visit has significantly increased, that before they only had 1 visit per week and now we were the 10th visit of the week (Wednesday morning).

I was in the process of filling online when we got the visit, so I decided to wait.

I'm planning to fill within the next 2 weeks.
