NTA Letter for ROC waiver petition. CRI-89 case was denied

My waiver petition (removal of conditions) CRI-89 case was denied. I got a letter from immigration saying my rights were revoked and that I should get a NTA letter right after and so far it has been more the 2 months and no letter. I still have a stamp I-551 in my passport valid until September 2017. Am I permitted to travel abroad and comeback?

How long does it take to receive an NTA letter after your case has been denied?

My lawyer said I can keep working and traveling without no issues until my hearing before an immigration judge. He said the judge is the only one who can terminate my status and remove me. Is that right? I would like a second opinion please.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

It can take months, and maybe even a year or so to receive an NTA. Immigration dockets all over the country are extremely backlogged right now, so for low priority cases (not a violent felon, not a gang member, etc.) you go to the back of the line.

Your lawyer is correct in that you're an LPR until an immigration judge rules otherwise.
