Address Change of Beneficiary

Hey guys!

My fiance has moved mid-process, so I'm not entirely sure on what to do. I'm filling out my I-134 paperwork, and it asks for his address. This may seem like a stupid question, but should I keep the old address on this form to keep it consistent with our other paperwork previously submitted, or should I put the new address?

You should put the new address, or else it would be incorrect information which could become a problem. What if something were mailed to her?

But I don't know of any reason why it would be an issue to change the address. People move all the time. It's not a basis for denial of Visa.

I am the petitioner, yes. I also can't find anything on how to change his address, just mine. I am so confused. lol...

Thanks! That is what I assumed, but I just wanted to be sure. I'm not sure on how to change his address either, just how to change the petitioners. Any advice? I'm losing my mind here. lol.

Thanks! I did see this on the USCIS website, however, it is for a change of address of the petitioner, not the beneficiary. Our application is also now in the hands of the NVC and the embassy. He has his medical exam scheduled, so now we're just waiting on that before we can do anything else. So I'm guessing the best thing he can do at this point is call? Not sure. lol

• If the petitioner moves before receiving NOA 2, then the address should be updated at the USCIS website. After NOA 2 it's not necessary.

• If the beneficiary moves before the interview, it typically does not matter, as most (if not all) embassies contact the beneficiaries by email. Once the paperwork for the interview is filled out, the beneficiary would provide the new address.
