Just wanna clarify this thing. the aka thingy for the nbi clearance is only required for those people who are using alias with their documents right?? Reason i asked is because i have read some topic stating nbi clearances should have an AKA.

Regardless if you have never used an alias ie AKA, you still need to be sure that while doing your NBI they search any AKA's. Even if you have never used one.

AKA is also required if in any of your documents your name was misspelled or if you have the "Ma." vs "Maria" thingy.

That's why it's very important that your name on your NSO BC should match your passport name.

Also if you were previously married, you should also put your name with your previous husband's surname as AKA.

Good luck!
