Whats Between the NOA1 receipt of delivery and the NOA 2

After the NOA1 has been returned by mail with receipt of filing date, what happens next? I know it is taking approx 3 months currently depending on the trends to receive NOA2, but does anything happen in between? Example? RFE on NOA1 ? when does that come in if it will?

How do the RFE's and timelines work. Basically when will you have a good idea if you submitted a strong application packet :) Thanks

For K-1, this is typically the longer part.
