Medical Exam to Interview Timeline - Dublin

My medical exam is scheduled for October 26th in Dublin. Any ideas how long the results for that take (blood tests etc.)? Are they given on the day or a few days later?

And how long it usually takes to get an interview if I apply directly after that? Would planning a wedding for the end of November be crazy?

P.S. If any Dubliners cancel their medical exam before that date let me know ;)

I am not sure if it is the same in London but K-1 can schedule their own medical at London Embassy so I would check in your regional forum to see if you can do that as well.

If you are able to schedule your own interview like many other countries you should schedule it at least 5 business days after your medical to allow the embassy to receive your results (I would do it an extra week just to be safe).

Planning a wedding in the end of November may be a bit tight because it can take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks to get your passport back with the visa in it. Definitely don't book anything until you have your passport in hand!

Medical results are available one week after the exam. They will tell you on the day if everything is all right, but the report and x-ray have to be picked up later. Interview will be scheduled by the embassy, and it's on their schedule - no way to know how long it will take.

End of November is WAY too soon to expect to get everything accomplished and you over to the states. After your medical, the soonest you'll have an interview is a week and a day (plan for 3 weeks, but it could be longer). THEN after your interview if you are approved it takes 10 business days for your visa to be inserted in your passport. I'd bank on a New Year's Eve wedding if I were you.

Kind of late to reply, but we got our exam results 5 days after when he called. And its funny cuz our interview date was oct 26 in Dublin! Lol. Our wedding was planned for late November, however the embassy was very picky with my fiancé and everything he said and they rescheduled our interview. And now we have to reschedule our wedding and everything, very sad. Anyways just thought ide let you guys know make sure you're over prepared! Good luck!
