Hello my wife and kids was issued conditional green card on 8/27/13 and the condition was removed on 2015.

My question is: When can they apply for Citizenship?

Will it be based on the start date of 8/27/13 or on 8/27/2015?

Your wife can apply for citizenship now and her kids would derive citizenship from her. Here is the link as well as the verbage from the USCIS website:

Link:https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume12-PartH-Chapter4.html

A child born outside of the United States automatically becomes a U.S. citizen when all of the following conditions have been met on or after February 27, 2001: [2]

•The child has at least one parent, including an adoptive parent [3] who is a U.S. citizen by birth or through naturalization;

•The child is under 18 years of age;

•The child is a lawful permanent resident (LPR); [4] and

•The child is residing in the United States in the legal and physical custody of the U.S. citizen parent.

So what happens is that your wife would go through the citizenship app, biometrics, interview and oath and then when she gets her naturalization certificate if the kids are under 18 she can apply for all of their passports based on her naturalization.

Wow, thank you for the info. I was thinking it will be based on 2015 GC

Is there a special procedure/forms for them to apply for naturalization ? Since I petition her via fiancee visa?
