Its been over 120, more like 160, days since interview, made several inquiries. they sent a letter saying still in review. process.

are there anything else i can do? will an attorney worth it? really dont have the cash for one.

Well if it's more than 120 days. You have several options; you could continue to wait, make infopass and ask what's going on, even demand to speak with the office who interviewed you or the his/her supervisor, or take it to the ultimate level and ask for a judicial review of your application in district court: https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume12-PartB-Chapter4.html .

When you say several inquiries, have you ever spoken to the same officer? When he/she gave your the "a decision not made yet" result, did he/she reveal any reason why?

I got a letter. not sure if its from the local USCIS office. i even know the number. should i go ahead and fill out an info pass.?

Yes definitely make an info pass and ask them why what is holding up your application. What does the letter say? Also what your naturalization based on?? marriage and 3 years or other category 5 yrs?
