We just booked my fiances flight here. It states in the instructions that he will be stopped when he gets in Amsterdam, for a documentation review before proceeding to the US. Is this going to be like an interview? Or will they just look at the k1 visa and that's all?

We always fly through Amsterdam and when he gets his gate number it not the gate but a small security check where they see passport and ask a few questions like did you pack you suitcase yourself, have you had it with you all times, have anyone asked you to bring anything to the us ... and thats it the print a new slip with the gate number for the plane.

It's standard operating procedure at that airport. But I doubt its effectiveness. Nothing to be concerned about.

Thank you!
