K1 Visa and Child

Apologies if this has been discussed before, I searched and read a few but I just want to verify. For reference, K1 visa NOA2 approved 9-8-2016, Beneficiary Country Philippines.

We have received NOA2 for the K1, the daughter (4 yrs old) was included on the application. I have also included her on the I-134. Since this is a K2 (daughter) visa... is there anything I (sponsor) need to do? She (applicant) will get passport and medical for the child. Will we also need to pay for the K2 right? She can pay at the consulate?

Thanks in advance for any information or experience here. It's coming quickly and I want to make sure it continues to be a smooth process.

Regards,

Mark & Gemaima

The payment for the K2 is just like payment for Mom (K-1). Print off payment receipts and take to the BPI bank and make the payment. Schedule the appointment at the same time as Mom. Make sure you complete a DS-160 for each.

More information can be found here: http://dennyeyberg.wixsite.com/filipino-am-visa/second-step

The documents both Mom and daughter that are required for the interview are here https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

When you complete the I-134 and I-864 you will need to send that to her (more information is on the website I sent you to).

She needs to use the information contained in the G-325A for CFO. It will educate her as well as provide information she will need to complete documents and answer questions from the interviewer. This can emailed and doesn't have to be original just so she has a copy to refer to for information needed.

Many thanks, just wanted to verify but the information provided is very helpful!S

St Lukes is the only choice for medical? She is in Cebu, The USCIS "Find a Doctor" is not clear.

For the Philippines SLEC is the only medical establishment that is sanctioned by USEM for their medical evaluations. Of course that location is in Manila only. I invite you to read through the SLEC section at my website and I think you will have a good idea what you need to do to complete the medical.
