Can I submit my i693 later after sending in my marriage based adjustment of status application? I haven't had the medical but have already sent in my application. Thanks

Sending to the wrong office and not have the papers in order ... it all seems a bit rushed.

They might send the package back then get the medical done and put that in before you send it again.

Otherwise you'll get an RFE and have to do it there.

What visa are you adjusting from? You have no timeline. I am guessing not a K visa. The medical requirements are not the same for someone adjusting from a K family based visa versus other visa types.

If you are applying for adjustment of status, you may submit Form I-693 in one of the following ways:

  • Submit Form I-693 by mail, together with your Form I-485, Application to Register for Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, to the location specified for your Form I-485 (see “Direct Filing Addresses for Form I-485”).
  • Submit Form I-693 by mail, after filing your Form I-485, to the location specified in your most recent communication with USCIS (for example, a Request for Evidence letter from USCIS).
  • Submit Form I-693 in person, at an interview in a USCIS field office (if an interview is required).
