Case expiring NO interview.

I am so beyond frustrated. Our petition expires in 9 days, and still no interview, case update, nothing. I don't know what to do at this point. I have watched other couples bypass us since the Riyadh Embassy received our case. A couple that sent their packet 3 the same day we did has had their interview for 2 months now. Another couple that sent in their packet 3 after us, received their interview a couple of weeks ago. I have sent email after email and they will not reply, nor do they take phone calls either. I have been so patient with this process and waiting up until this point. I know it's a waiting game. But now I am getting extremely frustrated. I don't understand what is going on, or why they can't respond to a simple email stating that we are in a queue. I'm trying to keep it together, but to say my patience is wearing thin, is an understatement! Any advice?

The embassy should be able to extend the expiration date. Sorry they are making things so difficult for you!

They will extend the date so no worries there.

Maybe you should get your congressman to get them moving with your case at the embassy.

I hope that they will extend your expiration date since its not your fault anyway. Just hang in there.

Thank you for the fast replies everyone! I called the NVC and believe it or not, the woman was very nice and helpful. She said they will reach out to the Embassy for us. Also, I contacted my congressman, and I have to fill out some paperwork and send it in to her. Hopefully this will get the ball rolling. Thanks again!
