I recently moved to a different state and I have i751 pending . I applied in March. I filled ar 11 online and I have them the I 751 receipt number but they do not let you put there the CR I89 receipt number . I called national 1800 number and I did it Over the phone as well and I was told I should get a letter with the address change

I am worried since I was not able to do the address change on the CR i89.

Anyone knows if i751 receipt number is enough to do the change for?

Are they linked together so I should be good?

Since your case is pending, you should send in the address change form (AR11) by mail. You cannot submit it online.

Have you done your biometrics? If not, you should receive a letter with your biometric appointment in your new address.

If you have already done your biometrics, you can call the custumer service number to verify your new address is correct. You make an infopass appointment at your local office to see what is happening.

Since your case is pending, you should send in the address change form (AR11) by mail. You cannot submit it online.

You may not change your address online only if you have a pending or approved VAWA I-360, T nonimmigrant I-914 (“T visa”), or U nonimmigrant I-918 (“U visa”), AND you have also filed an I-485, I-765, I-601, I-192, I-131, or I-929

In the OP's case it could be done online OR by mail.

https://www.uscis.gov/addresschange

" If you have any pending OR recently approved applications or petitions (except for VAWA, T or U visa); you need to complete two steps:

  • Step1: File Form AR-11 (online OR by mail),

    AND

  • Step 2: Change your address on any pending or recently approved applications or petitions, online OR by phone at 1-800-375-5283. For TTY (deaf or hard of hearing) call: 1-800-767-1833.

... If you use our Online Change of Address to complete Form AR-11, you do NOT need to file a paper Form AR-11"

Also, along with AR-11 the Form I-865, Sponsor's Notice Of Change of Address, needs to be mailed. And this form is for USC, who completed the Form I-864 at any time in the past, to sponsor an immigrant. The OP's spouse/sponsor.

https://www.uscis.gov/i-865

The USCIS web site is not always accurate with updates, so after filling those two forms, AR-11 filled by you (online OR by mail) and I-865 filled by USC sponsor (by mail), I would definitely called to the USCIS customer service to make sure they got the change of your address.

Good luck!!!

On the Form AR-11 the USCIS goes with your A # (Alien number), so you should've been able to fill out AR -11 online without any problem.

Anyway, usually it takes about 2-3 weeks to get a confirmation of the change of your address via regular mail.

Don't know when you called them.. How long have you been waiting for a confirmation?

I was able to change my address online successfully and got the email confirmation from them exactly after 4 days. Yes with the 1 year extension letter you should be able to do the address change.Make sure for form no, select i751 and receipt no should be the one mentioned in the the 1 year extension letter( starting with either eac or wac). If you have changed the address by calling them then it should be ok.
