I would have gone crazy without this forum here... I can't imagine going through the entire process (K-1 visa onward) without it. You'd just be sitting alone without any clue of what was happening or anyone who truly understood what you were going through.

IOE from Baltimore. Just got a notification that interview was scheduled. The https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/myca... link also shows the same status. However no pdf online yet.

Congratulations to everyone that has gotten either the Letter or the notification and even the ones that got the glitch !!!

Unfortunately I'm still seeing the Biometrics notification... I wish at least I would receive the "Glitch" to know things are moving along ... but again my FO is Santa Ana and seems they are running at least 6 months behind.

Hi all,

while this is not a measurable update in terms of what can be put into the table, it is an official response to an inquiry I made on Monday in writing (still, just boiler plate). On Monday i sent an inquiry via secure email asking whether the weekend news (Rep. Goodlatte's inquiry) had any effect on my case and if they would be able to give me a status update, for example whether I am through the background check and so on; here is the answer I received:

"Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for interviews at their local Field Office. Interview appointments are scheduled as slots become available at the Field Office. [...]"

Based on the language used (and yes it is a standard response) I am "in line for an interview" -- so great news :)
