the waiting game has got the be the worst part of this whole process. Ive been waiting for days for the IV fee to be invoiced. My goal is to have the AOS/IV packet mailed before the end of the month !! but this IV fee has my goals at a halt. :(

Did you call in to have your DS-261 reviewed? If you haven't done so do that asap. The IV fee won't be available to pay until they get around to review it which could take a couple weeks for them to do that. To speed things up you have to call in to have the DS-261 (choice of agent) reviewed.

Do as MrsBurgz says, call NVC and ask them to review DS-261 on the phone and the IV bill should be invoiced within a day or two after that.

Also, you don't have to wait until IV bill is paid to send the packages. You can send them in after AOS fees have been paid. Check out this comment for the instructions - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/597784-nvc-filers-june-2016/page-13#entry8175378

*sigh* and the waiting game continues... called NVC (did not get the e-mail yet, however, it seems that it is in their system already) and was told to wait up to 6 weeks for them to review case and notify whether it is complete or if I'll get an RFE. At least I'm closer than how I was a couple of months ago.. :protest::clock:

Hi,

Don't stress out. I did not get an email until 5 days of them receiving my package. I got it confirmed by calling them. I am not sure about your country but for me and most of the people applied for India heard in their 5th week about their CC.

I am not sure why you waited 3 weeks to send your package. Yes, they need DS 260 before they start reviewing and schedule your appointment but generally they don't start reviewing right away once they get the package. Anyways, have patience and all will be good at the end.

All the best!

I think this is your second scan date so it might not be a priority for NVC because they probably trying to get current cases out the door. If they told you 6 weeks, let's see if you get it by next week. If not, have them transfer to supervisor. One other thing you can do is get your Senator involve at this stage so they can request NVC to expedite the process. I pray for you that you get your CC soon. I know waiting is nerve wracking....

Yea, I could have done a lot of things differently, but it's a bit too late now :cry:at least I'm at this stage now. I've been looking at the other timelines to see, but I don't recall as to how much they waited between scan date and CC.

This spreadsheet can help you. No point in tracing their posts.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xbLl_8yDgHLeDaLnTrPdYc44J0sjPSFfYCKxlKx6uTY/edit?pref=2&pli=1#gid=0

Filter based on your country and then sort by completion date. Then look at the timeline for VJ members. you can easily type their username in the search box. From the result, select "Immigration Timelines" so you can get their profile.

Please see the attached screenshot from this spreadsheet based on your interview country.

All the best.
