Do we need to do a new Avidavit of Support?

So, I have been trying to look for an answer to this, but I'm struggling.

My husband (the petitioner) has just recently changed his job. His actual annual salary doesn't change much (has gone up by about $2000.) But I don't know if we need to redo the form, if they'll ask for it at the interview - or if we just leave it. I do have a letter from his new employer stating his job and salary, that I was planning to bring along to the interview just in case.

Any advice?

I suggest you bring the new i864 and his employment verification for the interview. If the CO asks who he works for, you have to tell the truth.

I wasn't planning on lying. I just don't know if they need a new form or not. I guess I'll fill one in just in case. Technically the old form is still correct in that the annual salary is still the same, and we still have savings and assets well above what we need anyway.

I'll get him to sign a new form tomorrow.

Yes if anything changes until the interview, then you need a new I-864. If he lost his job, changed his work, moved, etc... you need a new I-864. This is because it's not actually reviewed and accepted or rejected until the interview.

Section 6 says "Name of Employer". It's no longer correct really, if he has a different employer.
