Thanks, silvershadow! I didn't receive a confirmation email after I submitted the request via phone call to USCIS :( I'm getting so paranoid and worried :( Anyone???

When I called USCIS to enquire about my case, they told me they can put in a service request for me, but I could also do the same thing myself from their website. I guess because I put in the service request myself, I got the confirmation email right away. But perhaps if you still haven't received any confirmation email (I assume you've checked your spam folder too?), then you could file your own service request from their website.

Yes, I submitted mine on the website. The time when I called USCIS, they said their systems were down, so they could not file the request for me. But even if they could, it would be the same service request that I could do myself. So the rep told me I could either call back the next day (when their systems would be back online) or submit the request myself.

I guess waiting another 2 weeks wouldn't hurt?

Sending lucky vibes to those still waiting for their biometrics appt!!! :(

Helpful suggestion: Once you do receive that letter and have your actual case number, I'd suggest downloading the USCIS Case Status app. I have android, don't know if they have it for Apple, but they might. It makes it way easier to check your case status even though we probably won't have any activity until January. (I'd turn off the notifications though since I get push notifications about Travel Warning to various countries.)

Just fyi i called them last month 27 days from today for a service request and call them again 2 days ago. I spoke with an immigration officer that my letter was already sent 2days ago before I called them and she told me all about my appoinment. The time and date. So I knew it already before I got my letter.

July 17 when I mailed it and dated july 18 when I got the Noa.

July12---- Hard copy of i-485,i-765 and I-131 in the mail
July14-----Biometrics schedule arrive on the mail, Scheduled on August 6,2014
August6----Biometrics done!done!
Sept03-----EAD/AP CARD/document production :)
Sept11-----EAD card recieved
October16--Interview AOS :)
Approved on the spot
October 24-Green Card arrived in the mail. :)

June 2, 2014: sent Aos package June 28,2014: Received Rejected AOS package for incorrect fees? July 2,2014: filed I485,i130,i765,i131 with correct fees July 10,2014: received email notifications July 16,2014: Official NOAs in mail July 28: did walk-in biometrics *Actual date for biometrics was Aug 7,2014 August 20,2014: interview date

07/19/2019: Applied online

08/07/2019: Biometrics 

01/22/2020: Interview scheduled

02/26/2020: Interview.

02/27/2020: Status changed to Approved. Oath scheduled for 03/18/2020

No I didn't submit a service request for it so I am assuming everyone's will be coming In this week/next week :dancing:

I checked my mailbox after work today and hooray I got the biometrics letter!!! Scheduled for Oct 13. Looks like they have started sending out the biometrics appointment!!!

Good luck eto those still waiting for it!

Dec 2, 2011 - Vivian traveled to USA to attend a medical conference and had our first date. On Dec 10, 2011 - Vivian returned home.
May 15,2012 - Vivian traveled to USA to spend a month with me. smile.png
Sep 15,2012 - Met Vivian in Frankfurt Germany and on to Prague Czech Republic to celebrate our birthdays.
Sep 24, 2012 - Left Viena Austria. The last time I was with Vivian.
Nov 11, 2012 - Mailed in I-129F
Nov 19, 2012 - NOA1 recieved

June 13, 2013 - NOA2 approved.

June 17, 2013 - NOA2 hard copy received.

June 25, 2013 - Consulate received
July 7, 2013 - Packet 3 received

July 13, 2013 - Packet 3 sent

July 28, 2013 - Packet 4 received
