I just got approved and will be getting my green card soon (entered Guam under K1) and I really do miss my parents. I would really love them to experience getting on a plane and enjoy it here even for a short while. They dont wish to stay here for good as they said they dont want to leave our family house in the Philippines for too long. Will it be hard for them to obtain a visa? Theyre both 66 years old.

I have no idea is they will be issued one, not difficult to apply.

It will mostly depend on the ties they have to home, the reasons to return.

Other than owning a house, do they have any other strong ties to Phils, such as good jobs, a business, minor kids? Have they traveled before and returned home?

Hi, thanks for the reply. They never went abroad. My parents own a house and another property. My younger brothers are both married and have kids. My dad's mom is already 97 years old and my dad doesnt want to leave her for too long. These are the only ties that they have there back home. Edited by Mydy
