It would be very helpful if you completed a timeline.

Do you mean your petition was approved?

To have an approved visa you would've needed a completed medical to be already done.

Yes, you should wait until you receive your case number and complete the DS160

Kamusta Maylinda,

If your Visa application was approved by USCIS on June 14, it has yet to make it to the NVC. It takes the NVC a few weeks to process the Visa application and send it to Manila. Wait two weeks and have your fiance call the NVC and ask for the MNL number, that is your case number. Then you can make your appointment at St. Luke's in Manila, and then your interview at least one week after your medical exam (exam is at least two visits). My fiance and I aren't waiting for the embassy packet since mail is so slow getting to him.

I would suggest to Call NVC 3 weeks after approval, they will give you your MNL case # and your ID#. Once you obtain those information, you may book an appointment at St. Lukes schedule ur interview at USEM 1 week after Medical. And of course pay the Visa at BpI

Your case file will go to NVC next where it get assigned it's MNL #, this can take 2-4 weeks after you get your NOA2 (Petitioner receives this) in the mail.

After about 10-14 days from NOA2 give NVC a call and email them to get your MNL #, once you have that it is ROCK n ROLL time! Follow the flashing arrow below in my signature for details. If you get an email response from NVC email a copy to your fiancee in the Phils.

in case you are on a phone, here is the link http://visaconnection-philippines.com/

USEM suggests to complete the medical 5-7 days before the interview.

Does it mean, once you have your scheduled your medical, you can also schedule the interview the next week? Do they always have available slot for interview?

You are immigrant visa, you don't schedule your interview NVC does, they will notify you.

It can take upwards of a month at times. Patience.
