When I received the checklist it stated that NVC would review the documents after 30 days. I sent them an email and they told me review will be done six weeks after the date the received the documents....:-(....this waiting is unbearable

Yes, it said allow 30 days but actually took 34. That wait was the worse, and very stressful, as I kept hoping it wouldn't take as long. Hopefully yours won't, as it seems like they are getting back to 30 day cc! It was hard but I just made a decision to not stress and ride it out in ease because we don't have any control over the process anyway. As my husband always say, relax.

Hello everyone I'm new to this forum and is also waiting for our CC. We was hoping for our CC in July around our anniversary. But instead we got a chklst for his PR. So now we're 2 weeks down and rushing the other 2 ago fast. Now we're praying for a Oct interview date so he can be here around Birthday time.

When did you receive your checklist? When is your priority date? What visa category is it?

We received our chklst on the 28th of July. Which was a day after our initial 30days of them having our I-864 packet. My priority date for USCIS is Dec 11, 2015. We got approved on May 9th and NVC got our paperwork on the 12th of May. We sent off our I-864 in the June 21St and they received it on june 27th.

As I said before, it took us an additional 34 days after they received the checklist items. And even though the case was complete in July, there were people whose case was complete in June still waiting for an interview appt. so we didn't make the September round. Hoping for October as well. Not really sure how all that works. Think they will start scheduling again the last week in Aug. Maybe one of the more experienced persons on here can offer advice. Best of luck to you!

No I know that it will take 30days for them to redo our case. This wasn't posted as a question. I already know how long its going to take us in this process. We're just hoping for his interview to be around my bday in Oct so he can come home. But thank you for the insiteful comment anyway.

Ok no prob, think I was a little confused as to who was asking questions. Sometimes it's difficult to navigate on the phone. Trust, I completely understand, the wait struggle is real??. I was so disappointed after being delayed for the checklist that I was stressing myself waiting it out. Just had to regroup and get my mind back right. And I decided if he didn't get a Sept interview I would visit him, which I did last week. Now let's hope it comes for October! Lol Hope you get an Oct interview as well!!
