In less than two months it will be an entire year since we began this waiver process. We are in our 694th day of our K1 process. Yes of course, we have issues and ineligibilities. I get that, total accountability here. My fiance has done an amazing job at cleaning all that up. However, our attorney recently turned over to me all correspondence she had during our process. I see now that from the very beginning the Kingston embassy has prolonged, delayed, and done anything they could to not help us. It has been three weeks since our waiver approval. My fiance went to the embassy today because we have not heard a word from them. He wanted to give them the updated documents he has and hopefully bring an end to this part of the journey. They would not allow him in, they asked him to leave, and "please not come back". His status still shows refused.

This is the most difficult thing I have been through...and personally I've been through alot! What probably makes me the most angry about this situation is the time. Time is so precious and everyday I am reminded how we are not guaranteed tomorrow.

Do you have your congressman involved? Could you also visit the embassy yourself? It is easier for a USC to gain entry than a local resident.

I hope it all works out for you two. This might be frustrating to the max. But hang in there.

Thank you for sharing your story. It's so frustrating and hurtful. The embassy could've have be kind to him. They could've took his paperwork. They could've issued his visa that very day. They could've chose to be nice to him. Instead they chose to be rude and embarrass him.

I will pray for you and your spouse also. Hold the faith. What God joined let no man divide.
