We finally got our NOA1 morethan two weeks ago.  Now its the NOA2 waiting game.  We're watching the processing time closely but it seems they are not moving.  Also,  we downloaded the USCIS app that alerts us with updates on our papers and those whose cases are like us.

So you got the divorce issue cleared and are rocking n rolling at USCIS.. great news.

USCIS has slowed down some as of later, still there are a few that are popping out at 90 days.   Cross your fingers and toes!

To know YOUR status, enter your receipt number on this website.  Did you sign up for text/email notices?

Yes I did check my case status.  Nothing  has changed but i also checked the processing times for K-1 and it moved to Sept1 when it was just April when i checked last month. I apologize in advance if im confusing.

You still have a couple more months to go before you will get your NOA2.

Now I get it. Senioridez.

That date for processing is always changing.  It's a bit confusing but hang in there as you case will adjudicate soon at which time you will hear something. Just have to have a little more patience.

Yes, that is what the site says.  Trust me, they are moving but not that fast.  No June, July or August petition has been touched yet.  Hopefully June will start this week.  I think that update was a mistake but it will stay there until they update the site again.

At the current rate, you should see something by Valentines day.

The "date" they are working on means little, I would not gauge anything by that.   If you have signed up for email/text updates you will get notified.

Yes I know ... hard not to check "status" everyday...

Hello :) i have the same situation as hers.. Can you guys help me pls? thank you!

My Filipino Citizen fiance was divorced in Canada back in 2015. He was married to a Filipino Citizen and he's now residing in the Philippines.

My question is, can I file K1 visa for him?

Will US Embassy in Manila recognize the Divorce Decree from Canada?

I am puzzled right now because someone told me that she has a friend that was divorced in HK, got the CENOMAR (still married), attached the divorce decree from HK, processed K1 visa in the Philippines and got approved.

Some other people say that he needs an annulment first before I can file a K1 visa because Philippines does not recognize divorce between 2 Filipino Citizens.

Thank you in advance!

A couple days ago the USCIS stated on their site that they were working on Sept 1 petitions at CSC.  It has since been changed back to May 1 on the site.  It did make for a lot of posts wondering what happened to the April, May, June, July and August petitions that just seemed to be skipped!  LOL
