Hi VJers!

We filed our I-751 on 16 May 2016 and got our NOA1 about 10 days later. We recently moved and I want to know how are we going to change our address on file? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

i am not sure why some of the people here suggest to go look at USCIS to find out what is needed and what is not. i mean, just tell the poor person what forms are needed. it is common sense that everything will be available on USCIS.

OP - The Beneficiary need to file AR-11 online. USCIS might/might not send a acknowledgement in mail at your new address. this is where it gets interesting, it is still not guaranteed that the new address is current in every USCIS office that your file will go or have gone through. i have experienced it.i had filed AR-11 right after my N400 interview and still have not gotten my oath ceremony after 90 days after the interview because somewhere in one of the offices my address was not current even though i was sent an acknowledgement in the mail. great right ? how would one know about it ? long story. anyway, i spoke to IO to one ask about the oath ceremony when i came to know about this goof up. i requested the IO do it then and there manually and have her speak to my new local Field office which will schedule my ceremony. it is moving along now.i shall be getting it anytime soon.

I agree but I am also not in favor of starting a new thread over and over again for the most common questions. No need to reinvent the wheel. Unfortunately, the search functionality is not the best at VJ, but moderators at least could help by pinning some of the most frequently asked questions to the main page. It may not be a bad idea to pin these questions to the main page and always have in sight

- Sending package soon, how are my evidences? (Do we have a day gone by without someone asking this question?)

- Got RFE, now what?

- Moving soon, how do I change address?

- Traveling outside US soon, what do I need?

- Case pending/outside normal time, what can I do?
